INTERNTIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (IAC)
The Chairperson (Thulani Tshefuta) and Sherpa (Mabalane Mfundisi) of the C20 South Africa are part of the Civil20 (C20) International Advisory Committee (IAC) and in this regard, we join our fellow IAC members to encourage civil society organisations representatives to join the WORKING GROUPS for the C20 USA.
As part of ensuring the connection between the C20 working done in South Africa in 2025 and the work that is currently happening in terms of C20 USA in 2026, the following milestones:
- Thulani Tshefuta (C20 South Africa Chairperson) and Mabalane Mfundisi (C20 South Africa Sherpa) continue to serve in the C20 (Civil20) IAC.
- Greer Schoeman (Head of Policy Coordination in the Office of the Sherpa during C20 South Africa) and Ambassador Wanjiku Wairia (Working Group 14 Coordinator for C20 South Africa) were nominated to be part of the team of the Working Group Coordinators for C20 USA managed by the C20 IAC.
