Shenali Rajaratnam is the Co-Founder and Executive Chair of We Are The Hope (WATH) and Power of Women (POW)—global platforms advancing peace, well-being, and inclusive leadership through storytelling, music, systems strategy, digital innovation, and civic action.
A cross-continental leader in global governance, Shenali serves as Technical Advisor for Global Engagement & African Partnerships to Civil20 South Africa, guiding multilateral efforts across G20 nations, the African Union, and civil society networks. Her contributions span C20 India, Brazil’s G20 Presidency across G20 Social, C20, Business20, Oceans20, Womens20, Science20, and now C20 South Africa, driving digital inclusion, climate action, and values-based leadership. In 2024, POW presented civil society policy recommendations to President Lula of Brazil, with Nobel Laureate Tawakkol Karman delivering the handover at the G20 Social Summit.
Shenali leads the Global Annual Digital Power of Women Conference— highlighting key impact leaders across sectors, SEWA (Serving Earth With Action), and Power of Girls Clubs—a Rotary-aligned initiative uniting youth across Africa, South Asia, and the Americas. Her We Are The Hope album fuses music, media, and mission into a cultural movement igniting advocacy and collective action.
